Make & Save

I’ve never believed that making the most of your money means simply spending as little as possible.

For us, it’s about being intentional with what we have.

Sometimes that means finding a great piece of furniture secondhand instead of buying new. Sometimes it means getting creative and making something ourselves. Sometimes it means turning something we no longer need into extra money. And sometimes it means spending more upfront because buying something well made means we won’t have to replace it again and again.

I like finding value where other people might overlook it. I enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to make something work, finding a better way to do something, or turning an unexpected opportunity into a little extra income.

These are the real-life things we do to make our money go further without feeling like we're constantly depriving ourselves.

Save Money

Some of the best things in our home weren't bought new. I love finding quality furniture and useful things that still have plenty of life left in them. Buying used can mean spending less while getting something with more character and staying power.

Saving money doesn't always mean buying the cheapest option. Sometimes the smarter choice is to spend more on something well made, useful, and built to last. Here I share the things we've decided are worth the money—and why.
